MOM

An Angel in our lives.

If I could emulate one person I have ever known in my life I would choose my mom.

She was the most everything I have ever known.

She taught me how to love, how to cry, how be strong, to laugh, to be kind and give of myself, to give comfort, how to inspire, how to share, show respect and be mindful of others. How to accentuate all the good in life and deal with the challenges that came before me.

Mom taught me  this through example, every day of her life.

When we were young I recall the excitement at 6:30 waiting at the bus stop for the number 3 bus to drop off my mom after a long day at the office. Her smiling face, full of joy, we would walk up the ally hand in hand to our home and have supper. It was such a special time.

Now however that bus won’t be stopping at the end of the ally anymore; however mom is with me each and every day woven throughout the fabric of my being. I can never be without her and will always want to be her.

In the last hours together as I was praying at her side I thanked God for blessing me with such a great mother.

An Angel in our lives.

Mom is the greatest person I have ever known.

Rather than morn the absence of her flame, let us celebrate how brightly it glowed and let it continue to light our way.

 I Love you mom.
